This privacy policy describes how Softcingo ("the studio", "we") handles information in its virtual reality applications, including the game Poolrooms VR for Meta Quest. By using our applications, you agree to the practices described on this page.

1. Introduction and scope

Our applications are built with privacy as a core principle: Poolrooms VR does not collect, transmit, sell, or monetize any personal information, user data, or gameplay statistics. The game is a single-player experience and does not require creating an account or signing in within the application.

2. Data we do not collect

• Name, email address, or contact details.
• User identifiers, profiles, or personal content.
• Gameplay statistics, scores, or activity logs.
• Location, photos, contacts, or device files.
• Audio: the game does not use the headset microphone. The microphone permission is not part of the experience, and no audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.

3. Microphone and camera

Poolrooms VR never activates the device microphone or camera. If your headset operating system shows related permissions, they are not used by the game and no content is captured.

4. Data processed by the platform (Meta)

When you download and run applications on a Meta Quest device, Meta Platforms, Inc. may collect and process certain information under its own privacy policy (for example, account, store, or device data). That processing is Meta's responsibility and is governed by the privacy policy available on its official sites; we do not receive or control that data.

5. Third-party services

The game does not integrate analytics, advertising, social networks, or any third-party external services that collect user data.

6. Children

Our applications are not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect personal information from any user, child or adult.

7. Data security and transmission

Because the application does not collect personal data, there is no transmission of personal information from the game to our servers or to third parties, and we do not store data on external services.

8. Your rights

Since we do not store personal data, there is no data to access, correct, or delete on our side. For any data managed by Meta in your account or device, you can exercise your rights through the tools Meta provides.

9. Governing law

This privacy policy is governed by the laws applicable in the user's country of residence.

10. Changes to this policy

If our applications ever add features that change this policy (for example, online leaderboards), we will update this page before publishing those changes and clearly describe what data is collected and why.
